Dropping off passengers
DAA provides designated Drop-off zones for dropping off passengers for a flight. These zones are located outside both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. Motorists should follow signs for T1 Departures or T2 Departures to access these set-down areas.
Unattended cars will be towed away immediately.
Airport police are in attendance to ensure this policy is strictly enforced.
Picking up passengers
Motorists should use the short-term multi-storey car parks when picking up passengers. These car parks are signposted on approach to both terminals.
Unattended vehicles
For security reasons, vehicles should not be left unattended at any time. Any vehicle left unattended outside a terminal will be either clamped or towed away by airport police. There is a charge of €140 for recovery of the vehicle. If the vehicle is not collected on the day it is removed, there is a further €35 charge for each day’s storage.
Parking
The airport has a wide range of on-site car parks all within easy distance of the terminal building.
By taxi
Passengers arriving by taxi will be set down on the forecourt directly outside Terminal 1 or Terminal 2.
Display of fare information
All licensed taxis are obliged to display passenger information including rights and responsibilities and fare information, which will be supplied by the Commission for Taxi Regulation, in the front and back of the vehicle. All licensed taxi drivers must display their driver identification card in clear view of the customer.
